The goal of BC Sambo Association is to promote the sports of combat sambo and sport sambo within the province of B.C. We believe that sambo is the most well rounded martial art as it combines all aspects of fighting under a system of scoring that promotes easily judged matches and safety.
While Sambo is in its emergence stage in most of North America, it is already well established in Europe, Asia and Russia. This provides our athletes with a unique opportunity to travel internationally to compete in events and gain cultural knowledge.
